Jonathan has composed many scores for theatre and dance including work for the National Theatre, theatre-rites, the Belgrade Theatre, Youth Music Theatre:UK, DV8, Stan Won't Dance, David Glass Ensemble, and Blind Summit.

Beauty and The Beast. A re-telling of the classic fairy-tale. Belgrade Theatre. 2005. Performed in the ruins of Coventry Cathedral. Directed by John Wright.

Exiles. James Joyce's only play. National Theatre, 2006. Directed by James MacDonald.

Medea. An Icelandic production of Euripedes' play. Flugjandi Fiskar, Reykjavik. 2001. Toured the UK and Finland, 2002. Directed by Hilmar Oddsson.

The Thought That Counts. A new show exploring numbers for six years and below. theatre-rites in collaboration with the Barbican and the Young Vic. 2005/7 Directed by Sue Buckmaster.

Revelations. A dance piece by Stan Won't Dance. 2006. In collaboration with the South Bank, London.

The House Of Blue Leaves. A performance installation by Ken Unsworth. 2010. Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Endangered. A music theatre piece for YMT:UK, a choral piece for schools and an installation for museums. Go here for more details.

Jonathan also composes for film and television. The short compilation track featured last here contains music from the drama-documentary Pyramid (BBC1), Lindy Heymann's short film Service (Channel 4), a french film Melusine and a British Gas advert...Jonathan also contributed music to the award-winning DV8 film The Cost of Living (Channel 4).
